Merry Christmas, everyone!
My, how time flies. It seems like yesterday that Annie was waking me in the middle of the night saying she was pregnant. Through sleep-covered eyes and semi-conscientiousness I think I said something like: “That’s nice”, before I turned over and went back to sleep. She then shook me, and showed me The Stick of Hope/Doom (depending on who you are). Then, of course, our lives changed forever.
We are extremely thankful and consider ourselves very lucky. Frances is amazing. She continues to grow and wow us with all she is learning. She is now babbling nonstop, and I can distinctly hear a “da da” in there somewhere. She is pushing up strongly with her arms, and I fear that very soon she’ll be crawling. Annie has already put a cap on every electrical outlet in the house in anticipation.
In case you don’t hear from us anymore over the holidays, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We wish you all could meet Frances and witness her beautiful smile in person. But until then, enjoy these few Christmas pictures of us:
